TEXT: 1 Thessalonians 5:19-25

In our last message, we continued looking at Paul’s prayer that the Thessalonian believers be preserved blameless by God, through God, and for God. Every part of the life of the saint is to be as clay in the Potter’s hand. He is shaping and molding us, transforming us, and working through all of our experiences to ensure we become like Christ. The road of sanctification is sometimes harrowing and hard. We may feel as though we are not making progress, as though we stumble and fall and fail to rise. But that is why verse 21 is there: to remind us, “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”
