TEXT: Acts 17:24-28
Over one hundred years ago, in his classic work, The Souls of Black Folk, W.E.B. Du Bois declared, “the problem of the twentieth century is the problem of the color line.” As we look about us today in America, it can be said that the problem of the twenty-first century is also the problem of the color line. It would seem that, after one hundred-plus years of progress on the issue of race in this country, we would have reached some semblance of laying those old demons to rest. But we have yet to do so.
