TEXT: Matthew 6:9-13
In our last message, we looked at the first part of the six-part structure of The Lord’s Prayer or the Disciples’ Prayer. As we follow Jesus’ model of praying, first, we ought to praise and show reverence for God. “Our Father, which art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Second, we ought to put God’s will before ours. Jesus said, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” The word “kingdom” refers to the reign of God in Heaven and in Earth. His reign relates to His supreme and sovereign control over all things in the universe.
